Description
From our Hajime no Ippo cosplay shoot at Sakura-Con 2011. I would imagine Date is goading Ippo to come and challenge him for the belt.
The name of the photo comes from Date's totem animal, the Lion. "Maybe I'm a Lion" was also the song that we used as the intro for the Fantasy Fight Tournament.
I got really, really lean for this Con, cutting 38 lbs below my normal weight. You can see how my eyes have sunk into my head and my cheekbones are standing out -weight cutting is so much fun! XD I will bulk up now and gain back the mass I lost to come in this lean.
The belt was both a magnificent prop for this photoshoot, and the grand prize for FFFT!
